Department Overview

The Building/Planning/Architectural Board of Review Department is responsible for reviewing all submissions to the City regarding Planning and Zoning and approval of all construction documents prior to a building and/or project commencing. • Issuance of permits for building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, garage sale, etc.
  • Inspection by state certified building, HVAC, plumbing and electrical inspectors.
  • Issuance of Certificates of Occupancy for new construction, major renovations or changes of use and names.
  • Provide lists of contractors (general, electric, HVAC and plumbing) who are registered with the City.
