Department Overview

The mission of Beachwood Community Services is to improve the quality of life of all residents by providing a wide variety of cultural and leisure activities, special events, facilities and services encouraging health, fitness, relaxation, enjoyment, cultural enrichment, and learning as well as providing opportunities for community involvement. The Community Services Department is composed of both the Human Services and Recreation Departments.

50 Year Resident Salute & Concert

Thursday, June 8, 6:30 PM, Beachwood Community Center
The City of Beachwood would like to invite all residents who have lived here for 50 years to join us for a moment of special recognition at the June 8 Beachwood Beat's concert featuring Red Light Roxy. Newly minted 50-year residents will receive a commemorative gift. If you have not been recognized previously, RSVP by calling Community Services at 216-292-1970 prior to June 5. 

Juneteenth Community Celebration

Monday, June 19, 4:30-7 PM, Outside Beachwood Family Aquatic Center
A new summer event! All are welcome and invited to gather for a Juneteenth community celebration in partnership with the Beachwood City School's African American Affinity Group. BFAC Disco Night

Thursday, July 13, 8-10 PM, Beachwood Family Aquatic Center
Get groovy! Join us for our very first Disco Night as the Beachwood Family Aquatic Center turns into Boogie Blvd. Swim under the lights, enjoy dessert trucks, music, games and more. Registration begins May 29 online or see the front desk at the aquatic center. View our flyer for more details.
