Winter Fashion Design Camp for Sustainable Style
December 27-29, 9 AM-Noon (Grades 3-5), 1-4 PM (Grades 6-8), Beachwood Community Center
Campers learn about fashion design principles with hands on activities. Color, fabric, silhouette/shape/proportion, fashion illustration, flat sketching, design creation, trend spotting, social media, styling, sewing sustainability in fashion and MORE! The students will learn how to upscale clothing from our upcycle shop (or their own closets) and will share their reimagined designs in our lookbook photoshoot and at a fashion show for family and friends. Price includes upcycling materials and clothing. Residents can register for $225, non-residents are $270. Sign up online or in-person at City Hall.
