Welcome to Beachwood Summer Camp
Expanded to accommodate for the 2026 Beachwood school calendar!
Beachwood Community Services is excited to welcome all new and returning families to our summer day camps! We’re committed to providing your child with a memorable, engaging, and enjoyable experience all summer long. On this page, you’ll find everything you need to know — including details on our expanded 2026 camp schedule in alignment with the Beachwood school calendar.
For 2026 only, we’re offering eight weeks of Kidz Camp, Bison Camp, Sports Camp, and Teen Travel Camp, plus a brand-new Summer Sendoff Camp exclusive to Beachwood residents for a ninth week of fun (August 3–7). We hope these expanded options add value and flexibility to your family’s summer plans.
With this extended schedule, camp staffing will be a major focus for us this winter. Applications open in January, and we appreciate your help in spreading the word to anyone who may be interested in joining our team.
NOTICE: Camp spots can fill quickly. If your preferred camp is full, we highly encourage you to join the waitlist. As staffing and group sizes are finalized, we work to accommodate additional campers whenever possible, always keeping safety and facility capacity in mind.

Kidz Camp: Entering Grades K-2
Youngsters will find a summer full of art, sports, games, musical activities, swimming (lessons and free swim), field trips, special theme days, nature, camp crafts and so much more! Join us for a summer filled with excitement and fun.
Limited Enrollment: 150 per session

Bison Camp: Entering Grades 3-6
This personalized camp is a combination of the traditional group-based camp and activity-based camp. Campers will select group activities of personal interest as well as participate in swimming (lessons and free swim), art, field trips and sports.
Limited Enrollment: 150 per session

Sports Camp: Entering Grades 4-8
Campers will have an opportunity to sign up for individual weeks based on the same format as our KIDZ and Bison Day Camps. Each week will focus on one main sport with a variety of intramural sports mixed in. In addition, campers will be offered an opportunity to go to the Aquatic Center and enjoy field trips twice a week.

Teen Travel Camp: Entering Grades 6-8
Join your friends for a summer camp just for teens! We offer an exciting summer full of adventure and a wide variety of trips. Weekly excursions may include: Swings 'N’ Things, WhirlyBall, Bowling, Hiking, Kayaking, Waldmeer, plus much more. Don’t miss the chance to hang out with your friends and visit cool places.

Beachwood & Shaker Theater Camp: Entering Grades 3-9
Summer Theater Camp at its best for kids interested in the performing arts! This camp is a combination of acting, singing, dance and art. Through television, movies and musical theatre scenes, we work on acting techniques, voice, movement, improvisation, audition skills building confidence beyond performance, and just have FUN! Participation will include a final showcase performance in front of a live audience at the end of this five-week camp. Our philosophy is that every camper gets their moment to shine. Additionally, campers will enjoy two field trips and swimming at the Beachwood Family Aquatic Center.
Shaker Heights residents should register through Shaker Recreation to receive their resident rate.

Summer Sendoff Camp: SOLD OUT
Due to the calendar for Beachwood City Schools, we’re proud to offer a one-week, resident-only camp for grades K-6. The week will feature a variety of theme days, swimming at the aquatic center, and two field trips. Available only for summer 2026.

T3 Sports Summer Sendoff Camp: Entering Grades 4-8 (NEW!)
Due to high demand, T3 Sports Summer Sendoff Camp has been added to our 2026 opportunities! The program will closely mirror Beachwood’s standard Sports Camp, with the added benefit of instruction from T3’s high-level coaching staff, many of whom are former Division I and Division II collegiate athletes.
Resident priority registration from March 9 through May 1. Remaining spots open to non-residents beginning May 2.

Camp Photos
Beachwood Summer Camp uses Waldo photos. Families will be provided access information at orientation.
Before & After Care
Before and After Care is available from June 8 to August 7 (no camp/childcare June 19 or July 3). Childcare registration opens Monday, April 6. Before Care runs from 7:00-9:15 AM for $14/day and After Care runs from 3:00-6:15 PM for $17/day. View our Childcare Info Letter for more details.
Special Requests
We would like to make your child's stay with us at camp a pleasant experience. Therefore, if your child requires special services or attention, please be sure to make a note during the registration process. Note, Beachwood camps do not adhere to Kosher dietary laws. Campers bring their own bagged lunch and beverage. Refrigeration is not available for lunches.
Refund Policy
No refunds issued after May 22, 2026 at 4:30 PM. All camp refunds are subject to a 50% processing fee. Falsification of residency will result in the forfeiture of all fees. See policy for more details.
