The purpose of the Charter Review Commission shall be to conduct a comprehensive and thorough review of the City’s Charter. The next Charter Review should commence on or about September 1, 2027.

Membership & Terms
Membership of the Charter Review Commission consists of nine Commissioners. Each Councilmember shall be entitled to nominate one Commissioner for appointment by Council and the Mayor shall appoint two Commissioners. The term for Members of the Charter Review Commission shall be from the date of appointment until the Charter has been fully reviewed.
