The cast is comprised of talent from all over northeast Ohio. The role of Matilda is played by two astounding young women, Mia Renard of Stow and Katie Tillery of Avon Lake. Beachwood resident Lynn B. Johnson brings to life the notorious Miss Trunchbull. The creative team features Choreographer Julie Schullo (U of Akron), Scenic Artist Megan Walsh (Cleveland Play House), and welcomes the debut of Musical Director Chad Kendall. The five-time Tony Award-winning Matilda The Musical, inspired by the twisted genius of Roald Dahl, revels in the anarchy of childhood, the power of imagination, and the inspiring story of a girl who dreams of a better life. The musical and its brilliant tunes will captivate audiences with this story of a courageous little girl who has an extraordinary personality.
