7:00 – 8:30 PM: It’s a family-fun Maker Fair at the Beachwood Branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library (25501 Shaker Blvd.)! Enjoy a winter evening of hands-on creative fun, including paper crafts, stop-motion animation, sticker-making, button making, and more! Free & open to the public with registration

THURSDAY, December 12
11:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Ready for a new career? Check out the Cleveland Career Fair at the DoubleTree by Hilton Cleveland East Beachwood (2663 Park East Drive). Register in advance for this free and open-to-the-public event

6:00 PM: It’s a PalMERRY & Bright VIP Night at Dino Palmieri Salon & Spa inside Beachwood Place (26300 Cedar Rd.) -- scroll down on that site to see the flyer. Join the fun for 30% off all regular-priced products, 10% off holiday gift sets, cocktails, appetizers, styling tips and a raffle. RSVP in advance to (216) 595-4880 and receive a SWAG bag!


FRIDAY, December 13
7:30 PM: MATILDA THE MUSICAL, presented by Beachwood Community Theater, runs all weekend! Shows are tonight at 7:30, Saturday at 4:00 PM, and Sunday at 2:00 PM. Performances take place at the Beachwood Middle School and tickets are cash/check only. (The villain is so convincing, last week she was heckled by a child in the audience.) 

SATURDAY, December 14
1:00 – 5:00 PM: It’s the MERRY & BRIGHT BASH at Beachwood Place. Celebrate the season with gift wrapping tutorials, over $5,000 in giveaways, holiday treats, themed photo opportunities, and more – plus a double-feature sing-a-long with Happy Feet & The Polar Express. UPDATE: The Be Well Plus meeting scheduled for today has been rescheduled to January 25. The topic will feature Getting Back on Track for your health goals.  It is from 10:00-11:30 am and slots fill up quickly, so calling ahead now is of importance.  The next two sessions will be held February 29th and March 28th, 2020.  Be Well Plus is a monthly group appointment that focuses on exploring and understanding barriers to weight loss and/or weight maintenance. This shared medical appointment (SMA) will encourage interactive discussions on body image, emotional triggers for eating, wellness habits, lifestyle behavior changes and being your best self. 6:30 – 8:30 PM: it’s the JFX Young Professionals Chanukah Party: bring along a white-elephant gift for the gift exchange ($10 or less, please). See their Facebook event for more info

SUNDAY, December 15
2:00 PM: It’s your last chance to see Matilda The Musical at Beachwood Community Theater. Grab a friend and go! Performances take place at the Beachwood Middle School and tickets are cash/check only. Thanks for your support of theater in Beachwood!  

TUESDAY, December 17
7:00 – 8:00 PM: Dr. Ellen Rome from the Cleveland Clinic will discuss the health consequences facing those who vape. Register online for this free discussion at the Beachwood Branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library (25501 Shaker Blvd.).
