7:30 PM – 8:30 PM: BHS alum Dr. Jennifer Eberhardt will present about how “to address the systemic ways implicit bias can negatively impact our community.” This Beachwood High School (25100 Fairmount Blvd.) event is free but registration is required

5:00 – 7:30 PM: 2019 TASTE OF BEACHWOOD! Info is available online and tickets ($30) may be purchased at the door. This event will be held at the Embassy Suites, 3775 Park East Drive.

FRIDAY, November 8

4:00 – 8:00 PM: If home is where the heart is, then shop to your home’s content at The Gathering Place Warehouse Home Furnishings Sale (4911 Commerce Parkway, Warrensville Heights), beginning today and running through Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Select items marked down by 20% - 50%.

SATURDAY, November 9

10:00 AM – 9:00 PM: It’s the 2019 Beachwood Christmas Market at Beachwood Place (26300 Cedar Rd). Shop a dozen vendors all weekend for catering services, baked goods, unique gifts, crafts and floral arrangements, and more. Free & open to the public!

7:30 PM: Bogey’s Comedy Club at Embassy Suites (2775 Park East Drive) welcomes sportscaster-turned-comedian Bill Bornokay tonight and features Angel Isaac. Save a few bucks when you buy your tickets online!

SUNDAY, November 10

11:00 AM:  Veterans Day Salute at the Beachwood Cemetery on Green Road (near Halburton).

1:30 PM: Enjoy "When the Lion Sneezed" presented by Talespinner Children's Theatre at the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage (2929 Richmond Rd.). A talk-back with the actors --plus crafts and snacks-- will be featured after the performance. Due to limited seating, advanced registration is recommended.

EDNESDAY, November 13

6:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Join Beachwood High School’s marketing students at their BHS Pop-Up Shop (25100 Fairmount Blvd.) for warm and cozy Northern Comfort Gear. Refreshments will be provided and custom logo wear is available with a 10-piece minimum order. This is a great opportunity to get a start on your holiday shopping.

7:00 PM: Revisit Violins of Hope at a Maltz Museum (2929 Richmond Rd) event, featuring a conversation with photographer Daniel Levin. Presented in partnership with Cleveland Israel Arts Connection. Registration for this event is encouraged!


Thursday, November 15: Kevin Wilson, author of the New York Times bestselling “The Family Fang” and Today Show book club selection “Nothing to See Here,” will be visiting the Beachwood Library tonight at 7:00 PM. Register online for this free event!  

Saturday, November 16: Ahuja Women’s Health Expo from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM! Call 216-714-8351 to pre-register for screenings such as carotid vascular, hearing, hernia, lower-extremity vascular, memory, and skin cancer. Fireside chat, ask a doc, and cooking demonstrations will also be part of the event.

Saturday, November 23: Beachwood Community Theater presents “Matilda The Musical,” starting today and running Fridays – Sundays through December 15 (no shows Thanksgiving weekend). Tickets are $9 general/$8 youth & seniors. Performances take place at the state-of-the-art and wheelchair-accessible Beachwood Middle School auditorium (2860 Richmond Rd.).
