City of Beachwood Boredom-Busters logoIt’s nearly Labor Day so I’ll keep this issue short. Enjoy time spent with dear ones this weekend! Make sure you’ve got propane or briquets for your grill.

This weekend is your final 2019 opportunity to enjoy the Beachwood Family Aquatic Center so definitely spend time there between Thursday – Monday.

Take a little “Me” time by popping in at Beachwood Place and the Pavilion shops for that heady combo of clearance sales and new fall merchandise…

Then, on Labor Day Monday when you’re tired of cooking anyway, gather your friends & family for the 27th Annual Totally Kosher Rib Burnoff at Gross Schechter Day School (27601 Fairmount Blvd., Pepper Pike).  Everyone you know will be there to enjoy contests, carnival games and inflatables, plus ribs, hamburgers, falafel, chicken and more.

Also this weekend: be sure to “Like” your favorite dog photo(s) for our Beachwood People’s Choice Top Dog Contest on Facebook! Voting ends at noon on Friday, sept. 13. The winning pooch wins a Barkwood key fob and bragging rights: one is good for a year and the other extends forever… I’ll let you figure which is which.
