The original item was published from September 14, 2017 to September 18, 2017 12:05 AM

HH-Banner3This Sunday, I hope you will join the City of Beachwood for an up-close and personal look at more than 40 different emergency, safety and work vehicles. Beachwood’s 18th Annual Honkin’ Haulin’ Hands-on-Trucks is our opportunity to share some of the City’s vehicles with the community. This event is free and open to the public.

Each child will receive their own ‘driver’s license’ and keychain. Photo opportunities will be plentiful, especially as little ones get in the driver’s seat of fire engines, police cars, garbage trucks, front end loaders, dump trucks, ambulances and more.

Honkin’ Haulin’ Hands-on-Trucks is a day of exploration, education, imagination and fun. Complimentary goodies, light refreshments and additional crafts and activities will be available.

I hope to see you on Sunday, September 17 from noon- 3 p.m. at the Municipal Service Center, 23355 Mercantile Road.
