EntrovationIt is no secret we have excellent schools here in Beachwood. I’m so often filled with pride over the work ethic, talent and accomplishments of both our students and educators.

Today I would like to focus on a particular effort of Beachwood High School marketing teacher, Greg Perry, and the 43 students enrolled in his college prep course.  Mr. Perry and the students in his program - from Beachwood and seven other neighboring high schools - will for the third year in a row host a large entrepreneurial expo.

This year’s event, EntrovationCLE, has yielded participation from more than 170 business vendors.  Take a minute to think about this effort.  These students have solicited participation from large organizations to one-man operations from across northeast Ohio. They have opened connections within our community and within our region.

I encourage everyone to bring their friends and neighbors and support this event on Saturday, April 30. It is not only a nice thing to do to support our students, but I think you may find something that interests you on a personal level.

Visitors will enjoy exhibitors featuring world renowned artwork, unique gifts, the world’s first portable recording studio, premier landscaping and farm-fresh egg delivery services, among many more. There will be games, raffles and some of the area’s best food trucks.

I am thrilled and honored EntrovationCLE will be held in Beachwood. Our own Karen Carmen, Beachwood’s Community Services Director, has served as the class Business Advisor for nine years, supporting and encouraging the growth of this important event.

Please visit the EntrovationCLE web site to learn more: www.entrovation.com.  I hope to see you there!
