Property tax chartI am pleased to share with you a recent cleveland.com analysis of property tax rates in Cuyahoga County.  This analysis revealed that Beachwood ranked the fifth lowest residential property tax rate among 73 taxing districts in the county.

The City works hard to create exceptional services and great value for its taxpayers. We are very proud to have such a favorable tax rate while maintaining so many services that improve the quality of life for our residents.

Beachwood’s property taxes for a home with a $100,000 value are $2,094 per year.  Residential property tax revenues in Beachwood are split among Beachwood City Schools (which get 59.9%), Cuyahoga County and the Cuyahoga County Library System (34.2%) and the City of Beachwood (5.9%).

Our tax rate is yet another Beachwood attribute that will help our community continue to flourish.
