The Ohio Attorney General is issuing reimbursements to political entities across the state as part of a $11.5 million settlement with Cargill Inc. and Morton Salt regarding prior purchases of rock salt. We are very pleased that Beachwood will receive a $40,453.91 reimbursement.

Salt I can assure you Service Director Dale Pekarek has taken every precaution to prepare for whatever weather we face this winter. Some of you had a chance to get an up close and personal look at one of these impressive vehicles at our Honkin’ Haulin’ Hands-On Trucks event last month. As of now, the City has nearly five thousand tons of salt stocked and ready for whenever that first snow arrives.

Our goal is always to deliver the best service and the best value to our residents. We will put this reimbursement to work to continue to bring you top of the line city services.
