 Service
The City of Beachwood Service Department is responsible for:
 
  • Rubbish and recycling collection
  • Snow removal
  • Street sign maintenance
  • Sidewalk replacement
  • Road and sewer construction, repair and maintenance
  • Landscaping and maintenance of Parks and City property including trees, shrubs, flowers and grass
  • Building Maintenance
  • Replacement and maintenance of tree lawn trees
  • Animal control services for City and resident's properties
 
 
 

Conservationist of the Year Award

CONGRATULATIONS to Chris Vild, the Beachwood Service Department’s Environmental Manager. On October 18, he was awarded the Conservationist of the Year award by the Cuyahoga County Council and County Executive. The award was presented by the Cuyahoga Soil and Water Conservation District.

Mr. Vild was recognized for his more than 20 years' work with environmental  issues. He is involved in Friends of Euclid Creek and Tinker’s Creek Watershed Partners as well as tree planting education and stewardship.

Recycling News

Beginning Friday, April 13th, a City representative will be attaching an informational sticker to the lid of your recycling cart.  The sticker highlights the recent changes in the City's recycling program.  Please refer to the sticker for program changes.
