We are proud to announce Beachwood's new rubbish collection
system.
Key to this system are large, easy to move rolling rubbish
carts.
Residents on Bryden Road and Brian Drive have used these
carts
successfully for the last three years.
The City of Beachwood will deliver one free rubbish cart
to each
household. On your trash day, our mechanical-armed trucks
will pick up
and dump the cart at curbside.
Your new trash cart is part of an automated program which
will increase
the cleanliness and efficiency of rubbish collection in our
city.
The benefits include:
- Providing faster collection
- Keeping all odors and rubbish
contained
- No lost pieces; lids are permanently attached
- Easy to
load and maneuver carts
- Providing a safe, convenient,
effective method of rubbish
collection
- Enhancing the appearance of the City of Beachwood
Keeping trash in its place is everyone's responsibility.
With your
help, we can continue to make Beachwood a great place to
live.

FREE Service to Reduce your Unwanted Catalogs
Over eight million tons of trees are consumed each year in the production of paper catalogs.
Now there's a free service that allows you to reduce the stream of unwanted catalogs flowing into your home: www.catalogchoice.org.
All you'll need is the customer number (printed near the name/address field on the back of the catalog). This process is much simpler than telephoning requests to stop. And the site maintains a record of catalogs you've eliminated.
