and services encouraging health, fitness, relaxation, enjoyment,
cultural enrichment and learning as well as providing opportunities
for Community involvement.

Wild, Wild Park!
Join us this Spring/Summer as we offer a series of exciting, up close nature programs in Beachwood City Park. These programs will get you up close to wild birds of prey, mammals and a variety of amazing residents who reside in nature around us each and every day. All programs will be held at the Beachwood City Park Pavilion, located in Beachwood City Park West. The progrms are brouhgt to us by Lake Metroparks Naturalists. All programs are FREE and are appropriate for the whole family!
Soaring Silhouettes
See live hawks, falcons, vultures and owls up close! Take an in-depth look into their natural histories and their personal stories. Learn about adaptation, predator/prey relationships, food chanins, habitats, endangered species and much more!

Feather, Furs and Scales
What animals are covered with feathers? What animals are born with fur or scales? Meet several of the Lake Metroparks Wildlife Center's permanent residents face-to-face and discover where they live, their favorite foods, their hunting techniques and many more fun facts about the lives of Ohio's animals.

Mammal Mania
Learn about the amazing mammals that live in your backyard. Touch and compare skulls and furs from several Ohio mammals. Experience an up close encounter with a live opossum, long-tailed weasel and more! Learn their personal stories and their natural histories.
