It is connected to the Police and Service Departments.

The City of Beachwood has approximately 200 full time employees who serve the citizens and businesses of Beachwood on a daily basis.

  • It is a $3 million project awarded to Panzica Construction Company and Lowenstein Durante Architects.
  • It is a 6,000 square foot, one-story expansion to the existing center. The expansion is south of the existing center.
  • The facility totals approximately 14,500 in square feet.
  • It features building façades facing Fairmount Blvd. and to the west facing the Beachwood Family Aquatic Center.
  • The entire Community Center is 14,500 square foot in size.
  • No variances were required.
  • The center was built using the Design/Build process; an aggressive and accelerated construction process.

The facility features:

  • Expanded parking areas
  • Compatible exterior finishes to the new Municipal Complex
  • Three outside courtyards, two of which are available via the community rooms
  • Pre-assembly/reception area
  • Six programmable spaces, including meeting and conference rooms, exercise and program rooms, an art gallery, an expanded kitchen and additional restroom
