Reverse 911 is a community-wide communication system. The Police place phone calls to a specified geographic area within the City providing residents with an important pre-recorded message. This system is mostly utilized in emergency situations. E-Copp is an educational program for children and parents
on Internet safety. The program is adjusted for the audience age and offers
educational information on chat rooms, online shopping, handling unwanted e-mail
and instant messages and appropriate avenues to seek assistance with an online
problem. Children and parents learn that vigilant parental supervision is the
absolute best protection available to children surfing the net.
