Construction on Richmond Road

Beginning Monday, April 14th, construction will begin on Richmond Road between Bryden Road and Science Park Drive for the installation of a water main tap for the Developers Diversified Realty Headquarters Building project. From 9am until 3:30pm traffic will be shifted from the south bound lanes to a north bound lane. Two way one lane traffic will be maintained by a construction zone with barrels and signage. Motorist should use caution when traveling in the construction zone. Residence leaving Baywood Estates from the driveway near the excavation will not be permitted to make a left turn. Baywood Estates residence desiring to travel northbound on Richmond Road should use the southern most driveway located near Bryden Road. During non-work hours or when it is not necessary to be working in the street, normal traffic will be maintained by the use of steel plates in the roadway. Work is tentatively scheduled to be completed by the afternoon on Monday, April 21st.
