Residents Encouraged to Participate in Environmental Awareness
Survey
The Tinkers Creek Watershed Partners (TCWP) are inviting
households in the City of Beachwood to participate in a survey
to help assess the level of awareness residents have with
regard to common household activities and their potential
impact on the quality of our local water resources. Answers
provided will serve as a tool to develop state-mandated,
water quality, educational materials for target audiences,
and will help to determine appropriate vehicles to deliver
educational messages. Over time, the survey will assist TCWP
gauge the success of educational programs and ensure the
effective spending of public funds.
There are two means by
which residents can access the survey: paper copies and an
on-line version. Paper copies are available to be picked
up at Beachwood Municipal Center, or contact Beachwood’s
Staff Engineer Tom Kreczko at (216) 292-1924. Completed surveys,
which take approximately five minutes to fill out, can be
submitted by mailing them to: Tinkers
Creek Watershed Partners, PO Box 444, Twinsburg, OH 44087.
As an alternative to filling
out and returning a paper copy of the survey, residents are
encouraged to access the same survey on-line through a link
provided on the TCWP website (www.tinkerscreekwatershed.org).
Simply click on the link entitled "Environmental
Awareness Survey" found
