The City of Beachwood, Ohio is seeking Statements of Qualifications from experienced design/build firms or teams to respond to a request for proposals (RFP) for renovations of an existing building to serve as the municipal maintenance and service facility. The existing building to be renovated is the City owned building located at 23550 Mercantile Road.

Local construction firms and design professionals are invited to submit their qualifications for a design/build approach to construct the desired renovations.  Submissions should identify the firms that will be part of the design/build team and address each firm’s experience with design/build methods and each firm’s knowledge and experience with regard to the design and construction of public buildings.  Submissions should also identify key personnel from each firm associated with the design/build team, especially the lead design professional and the project manager, and should provide detailed information regarding their experience records with both design/build and with construction of public facilities.    A minimum of three relevant reference projects should be included with a description of the project scope and work performed as well as appropriate client contact information.  Statements of Qualifications should address the firm/team’s record with regard to on-time delivery of projects and ability to perform within project budgets.
