Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting Dates and Submission Requirements

Meeting Dates:

  • Last Thursday of every month
  • 7:00 p.m. Call to verify

Submission Deadlines:

  • 12 noon on the Thursday three (3) weeks prior to the meeting.

Submission Requirements:

  • A cover letter requesting to be placed on the agenda, with an explanation of intent. Letter to include all necessary information, including a full and complete statement, signed by a principal of the corporation or partnership for an individual representing ownership, including:
    1. The location of the property
    2. The present use of the property
    3. The proposed use of the property
    4. A general statement regarding the type of building or addition to be constructed, including its height and square footage
    5. The estimated cost of the proposed improvements and land
    6. A statement regarding the identity of the applicant, together with such other information as the applicant may determine to be appropriate.
  • Fifteen (15) complete sets of plans. The proposed site development plan locating the building and improvements intended to be developed if approved. Printed on the site plan shall be a "box score" listing:
    1. All of the zoning code requirements for the proposed use,
    2. The actual dimensions shown on the site plan, and
    3. The amount of any variance requested
